The company was started in 2002 by Jeffrey Turck.  Both he and his father, Bob, have been collecting sports memorabilia for years.  Like most Michiganders, they are big sports fans.  They support all the professional and college teams through the good years and bad.  The combination of these passions helped them focus the business plan.  They decided to focus on teams from the state of Michigan.

Card collecting has changed over the years.  It has frankly become much less of a hobby and much more of an "investment".  For these and other reasons, they wanted to offer something more than just trading cards.  Hence,  several niches of high quality, hard to find collectibles were created.

In coming months, a much larger offering of cards and other products will be available, including vintage sporting goods like old mitts, leather helmets etc.
